Five American Aviators Decorated by British Army

Washington September 14 Brig Gen Charles Richard acting surgeon general denied the army has all the nurses it needs while General Gorgas is in France. The Red Cross reports 27000 enrolled but that does not reflect active service availability. He warned that 25000 more nurses must enroll before year end. The medical department fears passive enrollments.
