Milk Dealer Fined in City Court for Licensing Violations

A milk dealer named Book appeared in city court charged with violating milk sale regulations. The inspector testified that Book lacked a license displayed on his wagon and held seven bottles belonging to another owner. He claimed only three weeks in business and ignorance of the law. The court imposed $2.00 for the license violation and a statutory fine for each bottle in his possession, none of which were properly sealed. This was the only case heard in the city this morning.
