German push slowed as Allies push toward Belgian frontier

The German grip in northern France loosens as Allied forces push the enemy back toward the Belgian frontier. Since the July offensives began, the Allies have gained up to forty five miles from Ancre to the wedge location, with twenty five miles more needed to reach the Belgian border near Maubeure.

Allied divisions in Verdun offensive include 89th and 91st

The Associated Press reports General March states the American division that cleared the St Mihiel salient and prepared the Verdun advance includes the 89th division with units from Kansas Missouri Nebraska Colorado New Mexico and Arizona national army.
