Submarines Surrendered by Germany Near Harwich

Twenty German submarines surrendered to Rear Admiral Tri Whitte near Harwich at sunrise. The U boats will be taken to Harwich with German crews then boarded by British crews for inspection and transfer to Parkeston Quay. Additional subs are slated to surrender on Thursday and Friday.

General Advance of Express Rates Promised by McAdoo
