Eddy County Commissioners Pass Budget and Tax Measures
Eddy County New Mexico on November 12 1917 held a special session of the Board of County Commissioners. They canvassed election returns for provisional amendments authorized payrolls and warrants and approved building site for a bridge at Barber crossing. The board moved to transfer funds from Interest on Deposits and Court House Building to the Eddy County General Fund and adopted a tax levy plan detailing rates for state county and district funds and specific projects. L. A. Swigart presided with MANN and J T Cooper present and A K O Quinn as Clerk.
