Saturday inspection day in the army camp spotlights Company B and Pecos Valley units. Kitchens tents bedding clothing and streets must be spotless or explanations follow. The blast split the U boat in two parts midships and it sank separately while the British vessel remained unharmed. The submarine was about five miles away following an attack four miles off the Irish coast.
