Community House at East Burke Opening Described
The East Burke Community House features two equal reading rooms stocked with books and periodicals, a southern room with a pool table and games, and a children's room with period scenes. The upstairs hosts ladies gatherings, sewing bees, and conferences, with Me and Mrs Barber acting as caretakers. A steam heating plant, cedar exterior, and artistically finished woodwork mark the completed building ready for dedication.
