The Montpelier conference over granite cutters wages adjourned with a new scale to be submitted to union branches and employers. The grid raises range from 14 to 21 cents an hour, or 1.12 to 1.68 dollars per day by type of job, with specific daily minimums set for various craft workers. Increases occur in stages with May 40, 120, and July 12, 1920 milestones and a long-term adjustment culminating April 1, 1922.
