Universalist Choir Plans Evening at Church Vestry
The Universalist church choir will host an entertainment in the vestry Thursday evening with a varied program. Performers include a minstrel son Ofens, SC Carpenter as interlocutor, and Fred Gilson C J French Havel Abbott and GA Knayr as entertainers. The St Johnsbury Academy will receive about 8000 dollars from the estate of Mya Abbie I McCarthy. Proceeds from Miss Ca Underwood's will previously left 10100 dollars to Mrs McCarthy for income with principal reverting to the academy upon death. The bequest to the academy includes about 4050 for the scalorship fund and directs several smaller gifts to local groups.

Women charged with violating Internal Revenue Law in Montpelier
Regina Leonard and Jonn Agostini of South Ryexate were brought to Montpelier on an indict ment by the United States court charging them with violating the internal revenue law. The women spoke little English but claimed they paid fines in liquor cases and a revenue tax. Bail was set at 500 dollars, furnished by two Italians who appeared for the defendants. the case is set for trial at the May term of the Mod yal court.

William Redway Killed by Airplane on Beach
Mrs. Charles Severanek of Summerville received a telegram stating her brother in law William Redway was killed today when an airplane making a flight there fell to the ground on the beach at Catona. Redway frequented the sister’s home here and at Newport and Derby Line in summer and owned a ranch in the West.
