Guy Femple of Idaho Falls Idaho died Monday morning aged 27 at the Blue Front Hotel Estancia after weeks of typhoid fever followed by pneumonia and hemorrhages. He had arrived recently to settle in the valley and had no local relatives. A friend, Mr Kessinger, came to assist, and the remains were shipped to his old home Tuesday.

Oklahoma extradition case on family mistreatment

Sheriff Schubert arrested Charles Jenlink at a Willard hotel on a bench warrant from Cherokee County Oklahoma. An indictment for family mistreatment was found by the district court and extradition papers arrived Thursday night. Jenlink claimed to have a wife and fourteen children in Oklahoma while awaiting officials.
