Echo Reds Triumph Over Umatilla Nine 10 to 7

Echo Reds defeated the Umatilla nine 10 to 7 in a well attended game at Umatilla Sunday. A Echo delegation of about twenty visitors enjoyed the contest and warm hospitality. E. H. Brown funded Havana cigars to encourage tallies, with ten cigars and ten tallies tallying to the same total.

Bonney Bailey Nuptials Unite Echo Pair

In Pendleton on Tuesday Rev Storey wed Ralph R Bonney and Vivian Stewart Bailey at the home of L C Rothrock. The couple, both prominent Echo residents, reside with Mrs Bailey's parents in Echo and will be received by friends with wishes of happiness.
