Teardown at Indianapolis Speedway in Memorial Day race

Lozler car roared through Indianapolis Speedway at 80 mph and struck the outer railing in the Memorial Day 500 mile race. The vehicle tore a 20 foot concrete wall section, rolled twice, landed upside down, and sent Van Gordon and W J Bardell tumbling over the wall before escaping serious injury. The driver cited an engine cylinder blowout as the cause.
