National Bank & Trust Co. planned by three South Carolina banks

Plans call for consolidating Bank of Pages Mill Bank of Little Rock and Peoples Bank into the National Bank & Trust Co. of Dillon with $100,000 capital. The new bank would use a $15,000 building, keep branches for the three existing banks, and likely place current officers in leadership roles. Dillon officials and local trustees face a complex reorganizing task amid prior Seminole Securities litigation and governor’s political actions.
