Starr Farm Sale Near Diller Details and Transfers
The Record notes a sale to Thee Price of the Caps Joe W Starr farm at S17 acres 44 miles southwest of Diller for 25200 dollars about eight dollars per acre. Starr previously sold to A M Strawhacker of Steele City. The farm is well improved with two houses and a fine set of fruit and forest trees. Starr reportedly bought the land long ago for eighty cents per acre. Future plans unknown, but he may move to Diller and his son Fred, living on the land, plans residence construction.
