Farmer Louie Fasse Injured in Wisconsin Trip Crash

Louie Fasse a farmer from six to seven miles northwest of Diller Nebraska sustained a fractured skull in an auto crash one mile east of Missouri Valley Indiana while returning from a visit in Wisconsin He was taken to a Council Bluffs hospital where his condition is listed as serious His aunt was driving and attempting to pass another car clipped the vehicle causing it to overturn in the incident

Couple Return After Short Visit to Humboldt Home

Mr and Mrs Cal Herwig visited the home of C L Trist man and family and returned Wednesday to Humboldt. A Sunday night auto collision occurred at the first corner south of town involving cars driven by Mrs Bud Bell and Herman Albers. No injuries but substantial damage to both vehicles.

Doctor Slass Visits From Blue Springs on Private Business

Dr. H. J. Slass of Blue Springs and former Diller resident physician spent Friday in town calling at the Record office. He winters in Florida and plans to make that his permanent home after selling his Blue Springs hotel property and filling station.

M. W. A. Acts Schedule and Family Visit Highlights

The M. W. A. meets on the second and fourth Thursdays each month. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Henrichs of Wichita Kans., visited this week at the home of their uncle and aunt Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Henrichs and cousins Fred Geo Theo and Will Henrichs. They plan to depart today. The N. R. C. Club gathered at Mrs. Margaret Ker’s Tuesday afternoon with eight members, three visitors and two children. guests included Mrs. Elmer Greider Effie Greider and Mildred Richardson. Dainty refreshments closed the meeting. Evening club to begin November 5 with Mrs. Arthur Grone.

Waggoners Tour Crops and Fair During Regional Visit

Mr and Mrs C E Waggoner joined Mr and Mrs Wm Van Marter for a Friday trip by way of Wilber Dorchester and Friend visiting Geneva for the Fillmore county fair. They found crops good at each stop and enjoyed a one day outing with some time at the fair.
