Better Rates For State Rail Tariffs Aimed At Missouri River Max
Railroad tariffs across the territory will soon change under central authority abolishing the old scale. The Missouri river will serve as the maximum rate for all intermediate points, reducing Lincoln rail charges on the Pacific coast freight by two to thirty cents for the first nine classes. Confederate General Alexander P. Stewart Dies at 85 in Biloxi
Confederate lieutenant general Alexander P. Stewart died at his Biloxi home Sunday aged 85.
