No. 13 Wrecked on Burlington Line at Diller Switch

The Burlington westbound through passenger No. 13 from Kansas City to Denver with about 200 passengers wrecked at the east end of the switch yard in Diller early Thursday. Wheels of a forward truck likely jumped the rails causing the derailment. the tender and six cars left the tracks while the engine and two cars stayed. Officials and crews cleared the track overnight. no one was hurt and only minor car and track damage was reported.
