Thief Steals Bond Funds From Fairbury High School

Fairbury high school students raised $300 for a bond campaign but a thief broke into the building Tuesday morning. Entry was gained via a basement window and the school safe door was tampered with. Separately the Nebraska Bankers Association renewed pledges to sell bonds with no government charge and to support 4 H club livestock projects and postwar financial planning.
