School Notes and Church Activities Highlight Fall Season
The Intermediate room won first prize at Jefferson county fair for its product map while grades enjoyed wienie roasts in the grove and at Wrights creek. Seniors receive class rings. English XII studies Washington Irving. a church walk and social for the Presbyterian C C E group are reported along with a fire drill and upcoming services.

Mission Festival Draws Large Attendance at Local Church
The annual Mission festival in pleasant weather and good roads brought many mission friends to worship. Rev F Wupper of Lincoln Nebraska preached on Acts 4 20 and Rev H Rhode shared Africa experiences. Choir sang three anthems. Benevolence offering reached 87 dollars. Sunday school starts at 10 am next Sunday with no preaching. Otto Bergfelder, pastor.

Rally Day Draws Crowd at Presbyterian Church
A strong turnout Sunday for Rally Day and a good offering for the Board of Publication and Sabbath School work. Sunday school at 10. The pastor to speak at 11 on Conscious Worship in the Sanctuary and again at 7:30 on Christian Fellowship.
