A Thanksgiving program and plate supper were held Wednesday night November 26 at District 85. Everyone is welcome. Miss Erma Robinson, a teacher, announced. Kenneth Fouts, Seward County agricultural agent and enemy of Diller, was steely resembled in a sketch. A portrait of him appeared in the Lincoln State Journal Saturday edition.

Local Man Found Dead At Water Pumping Station

A man identified as Furrow was found dead at the city water pumping station at an early hour. Police and a sheriff were notified. Death appeared to be from a selfinflicted shotgun wound with a 14 gauge shotgun nearby. He reportedly had access via a door key while occasionally operating a village street grader. Ill health and unemployment suggested possible rash actions.
