Diller American Legion auxiliary reports progress and plans
The Diller unit meets November 7 with large attendance. Nebraska leads national membership as of September 30 and the unit is over quota. New member Mrs Leonard Wiemers joins. Projects include four tarlatan banners for the Vet's hospital and gifts to Yanks Who Gave. Funds sent to Little Red School House. Members plan Christmas party with the Community Club and a December basket supper with the Post and families. Several local family visits and a rainy spell noted.
