Local Residents Plan Lighting Study and Mass Meeting

Arthur Grone and family visited sister Mrs. May Cissna in Hebron on Sunday. The town board formed a committee to study the cost of a satisfactory lighting system and to reveal findings at a future mass meeting at the city hall.

Diller H S to Face Barneston H S on Thanksgiving Day

The Diller High School football team will play Barneston High School on the Diller gridiron at 2 30 p m Thanksgiving Day. A cold snap hit Sunday night with temperatures from 13 to 18 above zero and 2 to 6 above on Thursday. Mrs. Sam Clark and two children visited then returned to Lincoln while Dr E E Steffen traveled back to Beatrice after a professional visit and brief stay with his parents.

Grandmother Fox Dies at 90 in Diller

Grandma Fox aged over 90 died of senility Monday afternoon at her grandson Otto Fox's home in Diller. Burial from the church Thursday at 2 PM in Prairie Home Cemetery beside her son. Thanksgiving services planned in Presbyterian and M E churches on November 26 with offerings for mission work and charity.

Miss Re Lar ie Boettcher and Mr M Edward Lund announce their approaching marriage to be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday November 25 at Zion’s Lutheran church.
