Jerden Sanmann of Lincoln visited the town on Tuesday. John Saathoff and Theodore Senior drove to Wymore on Tuesday afternoon.
Modoc man 21 C A Green arrives with daughter Leta Bristol to Falls hospital Beatrice after a Monday trip. Shutt's Drug Store promotes big values for a three day sale Thursday to Saturday November 15 16 and 17.
William H. Backeberg sold lot 3 in block 2 of Caldwell's addition to Diller to Tony Bruna. The deed was recorded in the past week.
Mr and Mrs Wm J Novotny announce the birth of their daughter Darlean Dolores on Friday November 9 in Fairbury The mother is Miss Anna Franzen of Odell, now Mrs Novotny.
Mr and Mrs C J Mayborn drove to Lincoln early Tuesday to fetch Alfred and Mildred who had spent the Armistice day holiday at home. They returned the children to the state university for classes.
R. W. Green Jr. divides the building housing the box ball alley into two rooms. The south room will house S. J. Thompson's cream station and bakery, while the north room will house the box ball alley and H. H. Beckwith. Beckwith has vacated the north section where a line of Chevrolet cars had been stored.
Funeral services were held Sunday at the M. E church in Fairbury for Lloyd Buchmier who died after a colt kicked him in the forehead while he was leading it to water at his father's home near Thompson. He was the youngest of nine children. Burial followed in Fairbury cemetery.
The Cornbelt Lumber Co received three car loads of gravel from Louisville Nebraska on Tuesday. One car load of hogs was sent to the St. Joseph market from this station Tuesday by the Farmers Shipping Association.
Henry Diller, a state university student, spent the weekend and the Armistice Day holiday at his parents home in Diller, returning to campus afterward.

Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Southwick, and Mr. and Mrs. Raleigh Southwick with sons Gail and Rodney, of Fort Collins Colorado, traveled Tuesday to Okmulgee Oklahoma to attend the funeral of an uncle Mr. Southwick.
