War rant filed after threat near Ellis in county court
Charles E. Caldwell of Ellis area swore out a warrant against Clark C. Wells, a prominent farmer, alleging threats of bodily harm. Wells was arrested, granted a continuance to next Monday at nine, and placed under 500 bond. Caldwell says the threat occurred last Tuesday at Elm township voting place. Wells denies the threat.
