The Fairbury Journal reports an official ballot abstract showing a light vote. The head of the ticket totals 2543, down 237 from last year and 216 from 1901. Republican votes fall 127, fusion 110, with 98 and 118 declines respectively since 1901. Republican head ticket plurality is 51, versus 468 last year when most of the ticket had a majority of 558. The head was not cut this year. the fall Republican majority is near two years ago and about 100 less than last year.
