Directors of Diller Farmers' Grain Company accept Ewart Wilkison Grain Co proposal to sell their elevator at this station for 5000 dollars. Treasurer calls stockholders to pay subscriptions by the 28th inst to close the deal quickly. Diller Farmers' Grain expects to operate the elevator by June 1 or as soon as possession is obtained.

Lanham July 4 Celebration Bills Printed
The Record office printed large two collared bills this week for a 4th of July celebration at Lanham. The First National Bank arranged the sale of the Chas. Burton farm of 120 acres southwest of Diller to W. N. Starkey of near Steele City for 5500 dollars. Mrs. W. N. Sparks and daughters Bell and Hattie and Mr. E. S. Diller traveled to Fairbury by rail to visit their daughter and sister Mrs. D. Miller and husband at Davenport Nebraska.
