Tornado Rips Through Nebraska Farmlands Killing Baby
A northern Nebraska tornado tore through Cuming County causing the death of a one year old girl, daughter of Samuel and Mrs Mangleson in Cleveland township. The storm destroyed houses and farm outbuildings from the Mangleson home toward nearby farms, injuring several family members but sparing some, as livestock were killed and maimed along the path.

Fremont Man Missing After Night on Seattle Boat
Arthur Pichrer a Fremont resident and former Northwestern brakeman, 28, vanished from a Seattle riverboat where he served as crew for a construction company. Farmer Murders His Wife Near Marion Nebraska
