William Jones dies after short illness at 76
William Jones age 76 died at his home on Monday March 1 1987 after a brief illness. He spent most of his life near Fort Wayne Indiana and recently resided near Diller. Born December 3 1860 in Wells County Indiana he married Lydia Witham October 10 1881 and had three children Goldie Schmitt Effie Phillips and William Jones Jr. He leaves wife one brother three children and thirteen grandchildren. Funeral services were held yesterday at Wagoner funeral home with Rev Pyche of the Congregational church officiating and interment in Diller cemetery.
