Mrs Soséphine As Skrabal rents her farm one half mile north and five miles east of Diller. A public sale is set for Thursday March 10th with a large list of stock implements and household goods to be disposed of. Auctioneer Wright and clerk J Mayborn noted.
Disturbances of strikers are not grave. overwork and nervous tension threaten collapse without aid. Electric Bitters is advertised as a tonic and nervine for liver and kidney disorders, nervousness, rheumatism, neuralgia, and general wellness. Sutton guarantees it at 50 cents.

Friday evening library fundraiser at Belleschool. nineteen dollars raised. Double wedding at Beatrice area home ties Ida and Anna Duitsman to Rankin Leners and Peter Pardee.
Last Friday evening at Perry Cully's home in Gage County about sixty neighbors joined in a farewell gathering as the couple plans to move to a farm near Lowry City Missouri next week. The event followed a good old fashioned social with baskets of wine and hospitable cheer. The county convention to select delegates for the congressional and state conventions will be held March 2 at Panbury with 166 delegates, a first district allotment of Jefferson A Pleasiait 12 Newton 11 Endicott 8 Rock Creek 5. Precinct caucuses are recommended for March 16 at 2 o clock p.m.
Orin Gifford died at his new Pawnee City home last Friday. His funeral was held Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church with ministers Rev Thomas Collison and A H Ballard officiating. Knights of Pythias furnished pallbearers and floral tributes. Dr. Gifford, born 1835 in Berkshire Ohio, had long been a respected local figure. remains were buried beside his wife at Prairie Home Cemetery.
Northern grown garden seeds in bulk sold at Nelsons. The Christian church ladies held an all day meeting at Mrs J B Wrights home. D O M Sickles from the Fairbury commission house sold several hire bills of goods in town Tuesday. Sermons will be preached Sunday morning and evening at the Presbyterian church by Rev Mr Fisher from Harlin county.
Bert Ewers is promoted to traveling freight agent with headquarters in Utah. Mrs. Ewers, his mother, plans to move to assist the relocation. James has rented property to Torace Moore and will move to Purind Junction Colorado next week. Breele City Cor of the Pairs bury News notes James has many local friends including his daughter Mrs Chon Barter nearby.

John Gillett formerly of this city now living in Divid Missouri suffered a leg injury while working at a wagon. While riding, a stump kicked the wagon wheel and broke his ankle joint. He endured great pain and is now resting easy. the doctor says he will likely remain crippled.
The Board of Trustees of the village of Diilor Nebraska invites sealed bids for care and lighting of six or more street lamps for one year. The notice records the wedding at the ypide's home five miles east and one north of Diller on March 3, 1904 at 8 o clock. Rev. F Mills officiated with no guests beyond the two families. The bride, daughter of W Frisbie, wore a black suit. The couple is praised for future happiness and prosperity.

Separate notice reports The Diller Telephone Company contracting with Stele City for line sales and three to four phones across the line plus an exchange agreement with two other firms to deter new entrants.
Beatrice sheriff arrested Chas. Av Fallwell on a charge of attempting to extort $1000 from Mrs. Prible of Odell by a threatening letter. Deputy Harry Shafford swore out the complaint. Fallwell was arraigned in Beat rice court and pleaded not guilty. Preliminary hearing set for March 10. He posted $500 bonds and denies guilt, noting absence of direct evidence linking him to the crime. Fallwell lives on the Copeland farm near Diller with his wife and several children.
The Burlington announces very low one way fares in March and April to the Pacific coast and western points. Fares include 25 to San Francisco Los Angeles and 25 to Portland Tacoma and Seattle 22 50 to Spokane and 20 to Salt Lake City Butte and Helena. Proportionate discounts to hundreds of other points. General Passenger Agent Jd Francis of Omaha invites inquiries for full information and promotional material.
