Proper Car Washing of New Automobiles

Washing a new car uses cold water to set varnish and avoid paint damage. Luke warm or cold water is typical while hot water should never be used as it harms the finish. Special auto products dissolved in water may help remove grease but should not touch the body as they dull gloss. Avoid washing the hood when warm and do not spray a sharp stream to prevent sand and grit from entering paint. It takes skill to wash properly, but the improved appearance justifies the effort.
