Village of Diller Appropriation Ordinance No 131 1947
The village board of Diller Nebraska passes Ordinance No 131 approving an annual appropriation bill for fiscal year ending April 20 1948 with mill levies for general fund light fund water fund library fund and bonded indebtedness and orders certified copies to Jefferson County Clerk. The ordinance becomes effective after passage approval and publication.

Mrs Robert C Miller shares a simple homemade plastic diaper cover fashioned from shower curtain material to reduce washing and keep infant sleepwear and bed dry. The cover uses 40 inch fabric cut and sewn to form two 13 by 18 inch pieces tied with cotton tapes, fitting over the diaper and protecting sleepwear during day and night.
