City Council Backs Boy Scout Drive in Diller

Miss Bert Ballard of Fairbury reports the death of her brother Bert Ballard at his Fresno California home on January 1. He had worked in this office, survived by wife, a married daughter and two sons. He had been in Glendale hospital months, then home four weeks. He was son of Mr and Mrs Alex and Rebecca Ballard of Diller, with three brothers Will in Indianapolis Alan in Beatrice and Burt in Fresno and three sisters Ida McElwee in Glendale Etta McClay and Bert Ballard in Fairbury.
