J E Kerr family visited relatives at Gilead Nebr Sunday Monday. Charley Warthen visited brother at Beattie Kan. Mr and Mrs Gen Pecht visited relatives at Jennings Kan. T L Ewing Harbine leading merchant transacted business in Diller Tuesday. Fairbury Iron Works and Wind Mill Co plant closed down indefinitely. Dr Blair and wife of Fairbury spent Christmas with Mr and Mrs Herbert Beckwith south of town.
