Union Evening Services Planned By Diller Churches
The church will comply with the county council of defense and co operate with Diller churches on union evening services. Next Sabbath the service will be at the Presbyterian church with Mr Larkin speaking on Lincoln the Great Emancipator. A short opening program follows and a union young peoples meeting at 6 30 pm led by Rev Wagner to gather earnest cooperation of Epworth and C E Society members. The Epworth League social drew a good crowd last Monday. The February meeting of the Womens Foreign Missionary Society is set for next Tuesday at Mrs. Robertson’s home at 2:30. State Council of Defense requests lead to a union winter service with other churches on Sunday evening. The Epworth League skips its regular session this Sunday and joins a union young people service at the Presbyterian church. The pastor will preach at Rock Creek next Sunday morning. Sunday school meets at its usual time and place. Union evening service at the Presbyterian church includes a Lincoln day program and sermon by Rev. Larkin.
