Price recuperating after serious illness in Kansas City

Arthur E. Price of Kansas City Missouri and former banker of Diller is recovering from a serious illness. He can out and walk several blocks daily and is a brother in law of Frank Nelson of this city. He left Diller about 15 years ago. Reports that he was confined to a wheelchair were in error.

Suit Filed for 25000 Damages Over Diller Car Crash

John D. Wiener sues William Wehling of Lanham Gage County and American Mutual Liability Insurance Co of Boston in district court. The action stems from a Sept 12 automobile collision one and a half miles north of Diller wherein Wiener says he sustained serious injuries.

Oyster Supper Shared by Sparks and Freitag Families

Mr and Mrs Chester Sparks and Mr and Mrs George Freitag hosted an oyster supper at the Sparks home last Friday evening. Guests included Mr and Mrs Jake Lottman and family Wiemers Mr and Mrs Willis Clark and Carolyn Rose. Miss Seereee was a Brn guest. Supper games followed with Effie learning to make fun of herself. The night featured rock games and many cut pictures. Lydia Krebs won high score with a consolation prize. The gathering ended with thanks to the hostesses for a fine evening.

Obituary of Myron West Neguss

Myron West Neguss son of Mr and Mrs Alvy Negus born September 25 1929 passed away January 31 1981 at home near Diller Nebraska at age 1 year 4 months 6 days. He leaves his mother and father and two brothers with two sisters predeceased. Funeral services were held from the home at 2 o'clock Monday Rev Fillinger officiating Interment in Steele City cemetery.
