Wrigley Harvey Nuptials At Harbine Home

Arthur B. Wrigley and Miss Gladys A. Harvey wed at the Harvey home five miles northwest of Harbine on Christmas day 1912. Rev. W L Hadsell officiated before about sixty guests with Miss Bessie Nider at piano and Miss Vera Watson singing. The bride wore white chiffon with lace and bead trimming, carried a bouquet of bridal roses and white carnations. Afterward refreshments were served and the couple planned to reside on the groom’s father’s farm one mile south of Harbine.

About 18 to 20 musically inclined residents met at City Hall Friday evening to organize a band. Committees were formed and a Dec 27 meeting set to gather interested parties.
