A collage of small notices notes holidays and business tips. It includes Christmas greetings and New Year wishes, a holiday break for Diller schools, a bank sign fresh, listings for rent and livestock buyers, sewing machine ad, and local people visiting home for holidays with Hattie Sparks by Lincoln and Newton Sparks in this city.
Former business owner from Diller plans to move and asks all creditors to call and settle debts before January 1. Respondent J T Briees.
An old advertisement asserts that all diseases begin in the bowels and promotes Cascarets as a natural aid to keep liver and bowels active without griping. It claims six million people use and recommend the product and lists a 10 cent price per box.
One hundred ten farmers from stations up the line came to Diller on No 16 and stayed till evening to hear lectures on seed corn. The group included sixty from Hubbell thirty from Reynolds and twenty from Endicott. They returned home on the special.

W A Snyder, former rural carrier, has moved to town and now occupies a new residence in the city's west side. Johnson from Hubbell joined others from Hubbell who attended seed corn lectures in Diller Monday evening. The event gathered local farmers and ranchers to discuss planting strategies and crop improvements.

Public sale to settle an estate scheduled January 2 1905 at 1 P M at the Beatrice county courthouse. The farm known as Grandma Leaper's place lies 1600 acres with improved land a bearing orchard house barn and pasture. Sold to highest bidder for cash with possession March 1 1905 and title guaranteed.
Mrs Hertzmann, housekeeper for H B Tonemaker, suffered burns to hands and face Wednesday while starting a fire with kerosene. Oil on coals released gas that exploded when a match touched it. Doctor provided relief. clothing did not ignite, avoiding more serious injuries.
The Presbyterian church ladies extend hearty thanks to all who assisted in their fair. Thanks go to musicians, the auctioneer, booth builders, cleaners, and donors of art and curios. At least 80 dollars will be cleared, with proceeds split between the Ladies Aid and the Ladies Missionary societies.
