An inch and a half of snow fell Wednesday but melted by night. Bazaar and supper are planned in the M E church basement Saturday afternoon and evening. Santa Claus visited the Racket and left toys books dolls and various home goods. Give the Record for a year to an absent relative as a Christmas gift.
A Kimball piano in fine condition is offered for sale at a bargain. Enquiries should be made at the Record office. The notice also recalls last week when Charlotte Loock entertained the Sparklers.

Brick work on the second story of Mrs Diller’s building is a little over half complete but hindered by cold weather this week. Mrs Gillet of David Missouri visited Saturday staying with Mrs Harlan Hadley and others connected to Diller.
Mrs A D Stotts entertained last Wednesday in honor of her brother Mr J C Gregory of Lawrence Kansas. Mr Grape played piano and Mr Gregory sang. The group enjoyed games and a two course luncheon before concluding with warm thanks to the hosts.
The Presbyterian Coterie will meet with Mrs G Packer on Thursday December 19 in Kensington form. Everyone is invited to attend.
The Ladies Aid society plans a great annual bazaar beginning next Saturday at 2 p.m. in the church basement with supper served at 5. Regular services follow on Sunday with morning and evening worship at Diller, featuring the theme Saving Faith. An invitation welcomes all Christians and urges attendance, while offering open arms to skeptics seeking God.
