Railroads Pay Taxes Totaling Over Sixteen Thousand
The Rock Island railroad paid personal taxes of 13 626 19 in the county. The St Joe G I paid 6074 05 in full. Burlington paid partial. The total assessment against the road is 10 194 15 with 6 888 06 already paid. An injunction to restrain collection of the unpaid amount is probable.
