Miss Roth Davis daughter of Mrs H T F Davis lives five miles northeast of Diller in Oregon. A home economics sophomore at Corvallis Oregon State College designed a clay plaque to be presented to the School of Forestry by XI Sigma Pi honorary fraternity. Each year the top scholar at the school will have their name engraved on the plaque. Davis is a former Diller public schools student who graduated with the class of 17.
H. L. Remley and D. V. Fanders traveled to Omaha to check on business matters this Wednesday, returning with notes on potential opportunities and contacts.
Mrs J A Ramsey and her daughter Mrs Arlie Culver with two granddaughters spent Thursday with brother and uncle George Riddle and family, Culver and children remaining until Sunday.
