Jonas Shelley an elderly Jefferson county resident died Sunday August 2 after a brief illness and was buried beside his wife in Harbine cemetery. He was 86 and survived by a daughter and two sons. Perry Van Dyke, once a local resident, left for Oregon after visiting with R L Duke and others, spent time in Alaska mining, and has been in the ministry serving the Christian church.
