George Specht relocated his house on his father's farm to his own land about half a mile west and north. Diller house movers J. H. Carmichael & Sona completed the job quickly with minimal damage to the building.

J T Carmichael hosted a dance for young people last night in the new barn on Capt Andrews farm. A large crowd attended and the event was described as a very pleasant time.
M. M. Austin of Winchester Indiana acted in a crisis when doctors could not aid his wife who suffered stomach and liver trouble. He used Dr King's New Life Pills and she found immediate relief and was ultimately cured at Sutton's drug store.

Burlington Route promotes cheap travel to Portland Tacoma Seattle and beyond with deals to San Francisco Los Angeles Kane Salt City Butte Helena and many other destinations. Featured excursions include daily to a cave in Dauttts and thrice weekly Catborcin tours with Seattle as a destination. Inquiries urged at nearest Burlington Route office.

Loock’s hall supper and fair by Christian church ladies raised about 90 dollars. Vena Armstrong, Diller teacher, recovering from measles will return to work soon.
