A Thursday city hall meeting elected Frank Hall chair and Frank Pearce secretary to organize a flag pole and flag purchase. W C Line sold 480 acres of pasture land two miles southeast of Steele City last week to a buyer from Odell area. Price paid was 16800 dollars, or 35 dollars per acre.
