New Trials Granted in Dresden Bank Case
The United States circuit court of appeals ordered new trials for J. S. Prettyman banker Abram Kapner and Joseph Kapner merchants all of Dresden Ohio who were convicted before Judge Sater at the January term 1909 for misapplication of funds of the First National Bank. Prettyman and Joseph Kapner were each sentenced to eight years and three months in Leavenworth while Abram Kapner drew a six year term.
