Alonzo Cornelius, a Black man from Cleveland, is accused after $30 vanished from Frank Cramer’s pocketbook at a Mt Liberty hotel. Sheriff Lytle and Deputy Walker arrested him after finding the funds hidden in a coat lining. He admitted finding a $20 bill and a $1 bill but denied the $10. Bound over to the grand jury on $200 bond, Cornelius remained in county jail.
