A Licking County man seeks a divorce claiming desertion by his wife who chased him out of the home. The case outlines accusations of abandonment and seeks legal relief through the court action filed by the plaintiff.
Minnie B. Stoyle sues for divorce from Rollin G. Stoyle citing Wilful absence and lack of support since 1903 with no children. She asks restoration to maiden name. Owen & Carr represent her. At noon on Wednesday the committee announced that the 1,000 tickets guarantee for next year had been secured and it is expected to exceed that number before the Chautauqua next year.
Knox County Medical Society completes plans for an annual event at Riverside park on Thursday highlighted by a baseball game between the Mt. Vernon Juniors, sons of local physicians, and a Fredericktown team. Game set for 2:80 o'clock. attendees urged to bring baskets.

O. J. Phillips of near New Castle Ohio crashed his new auto into a street car on Monument Square at 12 15 PM Wednesday. The front of the auto was badly damaged but no injuries were reported. Motorman Sweger, in charge of the car, said Phillips was on the wrong side while turning. he tried to stop but could not.

Vera Cruz Mexico Aug 21 Jane Lind President Wilsons special envoy to Mexico and Mrs Lind arrived from Mexico City. They were met by Rear Admiral Fletcher commander of the American squadron in Mexican waters. He held wireless consultations with Washington from on board the battleship Louisiana. Lind received another note from the Mexican government and sent it to Washington. Before leaving Mexico City Mr Lind added supplementary suggestions to Senor Gamboa, but without departing from the American note. The original proposals called for cessation of hostilities an armistice an early free election Huerta to refrain from candidacy and party adherence to election results.
