Dalton sewer fraud case ends with Baughman guilty plea
In Wayne County, Earl L. Baughman pleaded guilty to 11 counts of conspiracy to defraud the Village of Dalton tied to the Harrison scheme. Walter F. Shetler denied four counts and trial was set for October 24. Baughman faces up to 22 years and $55,000 in fines on sentencing. Shetler could get up to eight years and $20,000.
