A postponed event drew record attendance with cars to the city limits and crowds walking to the carnival. The Massillon and Creston bands performed, plus a local band finale. Receipts reached 110.14 dollars with about 54.5 dollars to the band after expenses. Confetti, hot dogs, ice cream, coffee, and a Delco lighting system aided the festival. Traffic police ensured orderly conditions and organizers thanked all helpers and donors.

Berg Family Involved in Wet Road Auto Crash
Mr and Mrs P S Berg Mr and Mrs John Berg and son Milton were in an auto accident Sunday morning on a wet road west of town while en route to a funeral. The car skid struck a telephone pole breaking it off and overturned injuring John Berg with a fracture of the left shoulder. The others escaped unharmed and the car was only slightly damaged.
