Death of Miss Helen Findlay in Dalton Community
Helen Slater Findlay, daughter of Rev. and Mrs. J. V. Findlay, died after a four year illness at age 16. Born Aug 23 1897 in Yorktown Iowa she joined the Dalton church at 7 years 7 months and was a bright student. The funeral was held at the Presbyterian church with multiple pastors and a large group of mourners, processing to Millersburg for interment.
