Max Gerber 17 of Dalton High son of Richard and mother of Kidron Town and Country owner plans accounting study at Ashland College. He leads student council and choir, plays trombone, and works at the family store. Becky Miller 17 daughter of Elwin and a nursing aide seeks business at Eastern Mennonite College and comments on Watergate impeachment. She is a National Merit semi finalist and yearbook manager with hobbies in sewing swimming basketball and horseback riding.

Community Thanksgiving Service All Invited

Wednesday November 21 at 8 pm at Dalton High School a community service unites the Dalton School district churches. The Rev Harry Sparling will deliver a Thanksgiving message as the high school choir performs and CROP support funds local hunger relief projects worldwide.

Basketball Kick Off Dinner Sets Bulldog Season Preview

Dalton Booster Club schedules a carry in Basketball Kick-Off Dinner for November 27 at 7 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. Beverages provided. attendees bring table service and a covered dish. Coach Miller will preview the season and explain rule changes. Parents and boosters urged to attend.

Senior Citizens of Dalton Meet at VFW Hall

The Dalton Senior Citizens group gathered November 13 at 1:00 p.m. with 17 members. After a brief business session group singing contests and card games followed. Refreshments were served by la Berg and Helen Zaugg. The next meeting is December 11 with Ruth Lawrence presenting California slides. All seniors and community members are welcome.

Endsley heads his class at College of the Ozarks

Steve Endsley of Dalton was elected senior class president at the College of the Ozarks. A Business Administration major and son of Joyce Endsley, he hails from Dalton RD 1. Francis Woodruff, a freshman at Ohio University, will be home for Thanksgiving on November 21. Loyal Kratzer, a Dalton assistant mailman, was hospitalized after a sudden illness last Sunday, a coronary attack, and has since left ICU with visitors limited to family.

Sugar Creek Grange Holds Annual Thanksgiv ing Supper and Meeting

Thirty five members gathered at the VFW Hall for the Sugar Creek Grange annual Thanksgiving supper. Officers led the meeting with resolutions on Little League procurement, sign up days for 1974, a five dollar fee for shirts caps and insurance, and plans for an organizational meeting on Feb 11.

Bowling leaders in Rupp Construction League action

Gary Radabaugh led with a 578 series including 204 and 213 on November 13. Other 500s included Noah Miller 582 and Clarence Shankleton 564 with many players posting 510 to 556. D & R Supply totaled 2722 pins while Berg's IGA had 2677 and Rupp Construction 2647.
